The Venetian Plaster Company’s EWI is fitted in two parts; firstly, a coat of thermal insulation is applied to a building before a specialist, lightweight render system is applied over the top to seal it. This revolutionary mineral-based product is applied using just one-coat thus saving hours of application time, significantly reducing labour costs including scaffold hire, and minimising disruption to the building owner.

The thermal insulation layer forms a barrier to prevent heat escaping from a building on a cold day, and attracting it on a warm day. Although a property will always require a continual input of heat in winter to maintain a certain temperature level, that level should be lower in a well insulated building.

The lightweight render can be applied in any colour or texture, transforming the look of a property from a tired, old and dated shell to a stunning, warm and modern exterior.
