Marmorino
The classic Venetian plaster: polished, marble-like, and seamless round a room. This bathroom is finished in it wall and ceiling alike, in a near-black that holds the light differently on every face.

Sprayed flake laid on thick and then sealed under lacquer, so it sparkles like glitter but wipes down like a worktop. Waterproof and scrubbable, which is why it ends up in kitchens and bathrooms.

Natural cork, sprayed on. It insulates, it breathes, it flexes over hairline cracks, and it does not go green the way a painted render does — so a house finished in it is warmer and stays looking like this.
