Travertino Venetian plaster is created to have the look and feel of natural travertine stone which is a form of limestone; a light coloured rock which can occur in white, tan, cream-colored, and even rusty colours and has a fibrous or concentric appearance.
Travertine has a subtle stone-like effect with a gentle pitted texture of varying degrees depending on grain size and client requirements.
The surface has a low sheen, and although applied in just one colour appears to have two or three distinctly separate tones running through the surface.
This finish can work well in colours across the spectrum as it is possible to achieve the subtle tonal contrasts in both light and dark colours. The unique characteristics of this textured plaster finish give it an inherent warmth and appeal.
It is suitable for interior application and exterior, when used over the correct substrate . It is suitable for luxury commercial and residential applications and public areas such as large lobbies, libraries or office buildings.
- Project Showcase: Feature Wall, Microgaming Building
A fantastic finish to feature walls in the new Microgaming offices.
We were pleased to be working in the new Microgaming buildings, Douglas. We were commissioned to create a Weathered Concrete effect on these feature walls.
Surface applications consisted of one coat of Travatino then two coats of Marmarino classico wet on wet to give this stunning Weathered polished concrete effect which really looks the part in this new build.

A great project using many of our Venetian Plaster effects and other finishes.
JAKS Bar & Steakhouse did have wall paper but it was just getting scuffed and ripped. We have produced wall finishings that are very hard wearing as well as being very attractive and enhancing the look of the whole venue.
For this job we did 100m2 of black Marmarino with bronze patina wax plus 40m2 of grey Marmarino with silver wax and 100m2 of Marmarino in a travertine finish. Also got 180m2 of silver grey concrete look micro Cement to do on the floors and table tops and bar.
Lastly we applied the JAK’s Bar & Steakhouse logo onto the bar with a rust effect stencil.
A great project for Venetian Plaster Company!
