Sparkly Kitchen Splash Back

From emulsion to Ilumitextra.

Our clients had emulsion on the splash back and wanted something more aesthetically exciting — and, most importantly, cleanable and durable. So we used our Ilumitextra glitter flakes in a bespoke colour to match the client's kitchen walls. It's added something very special to the kitchen.

Ilumitextra's tastefully selected multicolour flake combinations give a luxurious, lightly surfaced visual texture, while the final coat of lacquer leaves a comparatively smooth, easily cleaned surface. It can be scrubbed repeatedly without damage, the metallic flakes are non-tarnishable, and because the finish is completely continuous there's no shrinkage, scuffing or opening of joints — everything a painted splash back isn't.
