A house on the sea front, and a render the sea had taken apart.

This property is situated on the seafront in Castletown. The render had been exposed and damaged by the sea elements, as the pictures show — blown off in patches, back to the coat beneath, with a crack running down beside one of the windows.

We have since applied our ThermoCork render system. Cork is impervious to salt water, which makes it ideal for coastal properties.

The proof is in the after pictures.

Look closely at the finished shots. The sea debris has found its way back to the property — seaweed on the wall, seaweed across the flags. That is the point. The debris is still arriving, as it always will on a front like this one, but the wall is now protected from any damage caused by it.
