We prepared the canvas. Somebody else painted the picture.

The owners of this property on Parliament Street in Ramsey asked us to prepare the base in a turquoise Light Weight Render System. The artwork on top is by Cup of Layna — art by Karolina Pawlowska — who has transformed the building into a work of art.

Our part was the wall underneath. Flat, even turquoise, cut in tight around the windows and doors and taken right up to the eaves, so the artist had a sound surface to work on when she arrived. It is not the part anybody photographs, but the mural sits on it.

On the rear of the property we have applied Corksol UK insulated spray render in an olive green colour of the client's choice.

It has been a great project from start to finish. We enjoyed working with Cup of Layna — art by Karolina Pawlowska — and working for Ciara and David, the owners of the property, who had the vision to make this happen. I hope that more properties follow their lead and continue to bring Ramsey to life.
