Some before and after pictures of a property in Onchan where the old dash finish was letting in water, so we applied our ThermoCork to cure the problem and also give it a fresh new look.
That is the question most people ask when their dash starts letting water through: does the lot have to come off first? Here it did not. The ThermoCork went on over the top, and that cured the problem.
Cork suits that job. It is flexible rather than brittle, so it does not open up the way a tired dash does. It is adhesive over a range of surfaces. And it is breathable, so the wall behind can dry out rather than hold water in — which is the part that matters when the reason you are standing there is water getting through.
Look at the before and after pictures together. The coarse, patchy, discoloured dash has gone, and the whole front now reads as one even surface, taken round the curve of the bay and cut in tight to the door surround. The neighbouring half of the pair is still in dash, so you can see the two side by side.
Our passion for excellence and client-focused approach ensures your project will be delivered on time and to the highest standard.
