Micro cement meets ironic.

A new twist on our garden spheres: microcement with an iron coating that's left to oxidise naturally. Just starting to rust here — a few more coats deepen the finish until the sphere glows like weathered steel, while staying light enough to move around the garden.

The finish isn't just for show, either. One of these spheres was plumbed in as a garden water feature beside a pond, water running over the rust — and the same idea works in other finishes too; the film below shows a second sphere done in silver glitter. Garden water features, made to order.
