Ecorend Silicone Render

Thin coat silicone render on a three-storey terrace front.

A recently completed project using the Ecorend thin coat silicone render system, with all materials from Isle Cork & Specialist Coatings.

It is a three-storey terraced house — a canted bay at the ground floor, moulded heads on scrolled brackets over the first floor windows, and a deep cornice at the eaves. Before, the front was one flat cream, the brackets picked out in maroon, and the boundary wall and gate pier streaked and green at the base.

Now the walls are a warm pale grey and the detail reads white against them: the cornice, the window surrounds, the brackets, the whole of the bay. The black door and railings do the rest.
