Straight over the old tiles — splashback, walls and floor.

Our client wanted to update her kitchen but didn't want the mess of removing the wall or floor tiles, so we applied our Crystal Quartz with glitter over the top of them. It's a strong, durable and waterproof natural stone finish, and it gave her the sleek, seamless, modern look she was after.

The terracotta chequer splashback and the big tiled floor are both still under there. Nothing was ripped out, and the units and the worktop stayed exactly where they were.

The question people ask when they see a finish like this is whether it feels as rough as it looks. It doesn't. It is smooth to the touch, and because it goes on seamless there are no grout lines to scrub.
