Traditional Sand and Cement

Cement render is one of the mainstays of our exterior work across the Isle of Man. A traditional sand-and-cement coating, properly applied over sound backgrounds, gives a property a hard, weather-tight shell that stands up to everything the Manx climate can throw at it.

We carry out full re-renders, patch repairs and new-build work, finishing the surface to suit the property — a clean smooth float, a sponge finish ready for masonry paint, or a traditional textured finish such as pebbledash or roughcast to match neighbouring properties and planning requirements.

Every job starts with an honest assessment of the existing substrate — where an older wall needs a breathable system instead, we'll tell you, and recommend one of our lime or modern render systems.
